OnePlus officially launched its Nord range at its online AR event. While you can try and win the chance to buy the OnePlus Nord range phones early at an online pop-up shop now, the phones become fully available to buy on 4 August.
We’re answering all your questions around buying, pricing, and pre-ordering the OnePlus Nord right here.
When can you buy the OnePlus Nord?
You can buy the OnePlus Nord from the OnePlus store from 4 August. At that point, customers will also be able to buy the OnePlus Nord handsets from Three, John Lewis, and Amazon which currently has £30 off the handsets for Prime members.
On 31 July, those who head to John Lewis’ online store and pre-order using the code ‘MYJLONEPLUS3’0 will benefit from a £30 discount on either model when entering it into the ‘Add promotional code’ link section at checkout. The offer is only available for one day, though.

Each configuration is available in Blue Marble or Gray Onyx. Prices in Europe start at €399 for the 128GB/8GB model and €499 for the 256GB/12GB model.

When were OnePlus Nord pre-orders?
OnePlus opened a pop-up shop for Nord pre-orders earlier this month, with the first pre-order round on 1 July. With only 100 devices up for grabs across the entirety of the European countries mentioned above, all devices sold out almost immediately.
In a similar fashion to the first round, on 8 July another limited batch of pre-orders sold out within minutes.
The third round, which kicked off on 15 July, was a little different; described as an ‘unlimited voucher’ offer – whereas the first two were dubbed ‘limited’. This suggests that unlike the first two pre-order rounds, there wasn’t the same degree of unit scarcity here, making it much more like a conventional pre-order offer, albeit one that was scheduled to close on 16 July – at least it would have if the remaining pre-order stock didn’t sell out only a few short hours after being made available.
How much did OnePlus Nord pre-orders cost?
Initially, pre-orders cost £20, whilst elsewhere across Europe, they cost €20.
True to its roots, OnePlus didn’t offering up a conventional pre-order path with the OnePlus Nord. Aside from the brief windows of pre-order availability, those successful actually bought a voucher.
To receive this voucher, buyers needed a OnePlus account (important for those who initially paid through the ‘guest checkout’ option). Once payment was processed, OnePlus sent both the voucher and invitation code to the buyer’s OnePlus account, allowing them to place an order.
it’s unclear whether forthcoming the online pop-up will use a similar voucher-style pre-order format but the company states that more details on the matter will be revealed by way of its OnePlus.Nord Instagram account.
What were the OnePlus Nord pre-order bonuses?
With this lower-stakes pre-order offer being made available on 15 July, you might wonder what value trying to vie for a place in either of the earlier sessions held.
Essentially, the earlier you placed your Nord pre-order, the more extras OnePlus threw in to sweeten the pot.
Those who were able to nab one of the first 100 slots from the 1 July window received “a random lifestyle product, a sticker pack and other mystery gifts” – and it’s the same for those who made an 8 July pre-order.
Those who pre-ordered on 15 July, however, lost out on the “random lifestyle product” but still walked away with the sticker pack and a mystery gift.
There’s no word whether the 21 July online pop-up pre-orders will allow fans to pick up anything other than the phone itself as part of their order.
