iPad Pro Users Complain Of Constant Reboots

A serious problem is causing an unknown number of iPad Pro users to experience constant unwanted reboots and a great deal of frustration.

The issue, reported by AppleInsider, began when Apple released iPadOS 13.4.1 in early April, and unfortunately it still remains after the latest update to 13.5. In some cases, the restart takes place only 30 seconds after the unit starts up; in other cases it takes up to 10 minutes.

It mostly affects older models, but not exclusively. Most people who encounter the bug are running the 10.5in iPad Pro from 2017, but there have been some similar reports concerning the 11in model.

Remarkably, it doesn’t even seem to be cured by a factory reset. Keep your fingers crossed, in other words, that the problem will be patched in the next iPadOS update.
