As reported by 9to5Mac, there are two ways to set the dark mode on the iPhone: You can choose from a permanent switch so it always displays in Dark Mode, or you can choose for it to follow the same schedule as iOS – turning the bright interface dark in the evening and at night.
The Tweet above shows the darker design of the Facebook app – which is more grey than black.
You will be able to turn on Dark Mode in Facebook app by tapping on the three horizontal lines in the lower right corner of the app and selecting Settings & Privacy and then Dark Mode.
Facebook is currently rolling out the new feature to a small percentage of its global user base. The schedule for the complete rollout is not known. Facebook has adapted almost all of its apps to Dark Mode over the past few months, most recently a corresponding setting could be activated in the Whatsapp .
