Best VPN Deals for Mac in June 2020

Although a VPN is designed primarily for security and privacy, these services also let you unblock videos that you ordinarily can’t watch because they’re not available in your region. And this alone is reason enough for many people to consider subscribing to a VPN service.

There are so many to choose between that it can be difficult to know which one to go for. And that’s where we come in. All of the services you’ll find below are ones we’d use ourselves, and we’ve found the best possible discounts which you can get by clicking the View Deal button.

These prices save a significant amount compared to paying for each of these services on a rolling monthly subscription. In some cases you can save over 90%, which brings the cost down to as little as a ridiculous 74p per month.

The deal we’re talking about is the latest offer from Ivacy. Ok, it does tie you in for five years and demand full payment up front, but that’s the case with most VPN offers: the monthly price is simply the full amount that you actually have to pay divided by the number of months that the subscription covers.

You can get 91% off Ivacy’s VPN service right here.

You’ll find Ivacy in our round up of the best VPNs for Mac, and below are the best deals available currently from all the major VPN providers, along with expert buying advice.

Currently PIA is offering two months free, so you’ll get 14 months for the price of 12. The £2.32/mo pricing is misleading: that’s the monthly cost if you spread the £32.49 payment over 14 months, without getting any months free. Whichever way you look at it, it’s not a lot to pay for online privacy and security.

Get Hidden24 VPN for just £3.33 per month for 3 months using the exclusive code idg1709.

How to find the best VPN deal for Mac

VPN subscriptions typically work out cheaper if you commit for a year or longer, which saves a lot of money. Prices rarely exceed £6 per month with multi-year subscriptions and are often closer to £2-3.

Many major VPN providers offer discounts through the year, and sometimes even offer permanent discounts. These discounts can look impressive at first. It’s not uncommon to see a countdown timer telling you when the deal ends – but such deals are usually available for a much longer period and the timer is really just a scare tactic to make you buy immediately.

Of course even with year-round discounts, deals do change, and it’s possible you can pick up a better deal at certain times over others. Yet large discounts aren’t too surprising. This makes it all the more important to look into the various providers and what each has to offer, before jumping into a long term commitment.

Keep in mind that VPNs are not all equal. Some services are better in some respects than others. For instance, PureVPN offers the most countries and NordVPN offers the most servers, while others, such as ExpressVPN, Surfshark and Cyberghost are great for streaming video.

Many VPNs like NordVPN offer cross-device coverage too, so you can use it on your Mac, iPhone or iPad. We’ve separately rounded up the best iPhone VPNs and iPad VPNs so be sure to check those out too.
