It’ll be a full year before any motorbikes can race around the legendary circuit on the Isle of Man. Back in March, the 2020 racing was officially called off but fans can still enjoy some virtual racing as eight riders and the same number of gamers team up to ride the 37.73-mile course to see who will be the 2020 Virtual TT champion.
Plus there will be a series of eight TT-themed evenings of entertainment including classic races shown on what would have been race week from 6-13 June.
Here’s what’s happening and how you can watch it from the comfort of your sofa.
How can I watch the Isle of Man TT racing in 2020?
The races will be shown as part of the TT Lock-in event on the official Isle of Man TT website, plus the official TT Races Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Chris Pritchard will host each evening’s entertainment with a welcome and wrap up. He’ll be joined by Steve Plater, two-time TT race winner, and there will be various guests including John McGuinness, Carl Fogarty, Dean Harrison, Rob McElnea, Phillip McCallen, Peter Hickman, Brian Reid and Cameron Donald. You’ll be able to ask them questions by posting them on the official TT social channels.

Which game is being used for the Virtual TT in 2020?
It’s the recently released TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 2, a sequel to the somewhat rough-and-ready original that came out a couple of years ago. You can buy the game yourself on Steam – it’s currently £34.99 – and have a go at conquering the circuit and averaging 135mph (or better) around a lap.
