Microsoft is about to reveal our first look at official gameplay from the next-generation of game consoles in a special Inside Xbox stream, dubbed Xbox 20/20.
This is just the start though. Xbox 20/20 will run for the rest of the year, with monthly updates on games, hardware, and more all straight from Microsoft.
When is the next Inside Xbox?
The May 2020 edition of Inside Xbox takes place on 7 May at the following times, depending on your region:
- US West Coast – 8am PT
- US East Coast – 11am ET
- UK – 4pm BST
- Central Europe – 5pm CEST
How to watch Xbox 20/20
Xbox 20/20 airs in the same place that Inside Xbox always does: official Xbox social channels. You’ll find the episode on the company’s YouTube, Mixer, Twitch, Facebook, and Twitter pages.

What to expect from the May 2020 Inside Xbox
Microsoft has confirmed that the first Xbox 20/20 will include the first look at gameplay from an Xbox Series X.
Don’t expect to see Halo Infinite though – the focus will be on third-party partners this time, with “a first look at next-gen gameplay, trailers and sneak peeks from a wide variety of publishing partners and independent developers.”
We do at least know that this includes Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which was revealed last week but has yet to show any gameplay footage.
If you want to see Halo and other Xbox Game Studios games in action, you’ll have a little longer to wait – Microsoft has promised the first look at those titles will come in July. After that we may get the reveal of the long-rumoured cheaper Xbox Series S, but we’ll see.
