Fortunately, it is possible to share a Disney Plus account with family and friends, even if they’re not in your household. Here’s everything you need to know to do so.
Password sharing on Disney Plus

You’ll need to ensure that you use an email address and password that you’re comfortable sharing – don’t use the same password that you use for your online banking or other personal information.
Once you’re set up with an account, all you need to do is share your email address and password with whoever you want to, number depending. Here’s the breakdown of numbers where it comes to sharing:
- Number of profiles – seven
- Number of devices that account can be registered to – ten
- Number of simultaneous streams – four
Though you can create seven profiles, sharing the account between seven different households is a little risky because only four streams can happen at the same time. You’ll need to use your own judgement to decide who you share your account with, and how many profiles you want on the account.
It’s also worth taking into account where you’ll be watching Disney Plus. Will you only be watching on the telly, or on your laptop/phone? If this is something that will affect simultaneous streaming, tell the person you’re sharing the account with as well.
How to split payment for an account
You can only register one payment method for your monthly subscription, so whoever shares your account should pay you their monthly share (if you’re both happy with that).
