HMD has kept its promise of bringing ARCore support to Nokia 8. Today Google added Nokia 8 as one of the new devices to get ARCore support on the list of ARCore supported devices.
We checked and we were able to install Google ARCore app on Nokia 8 which is a mandatory app for installing AR apps from Play Store. Download the ARCore app by clicking on the download box below.
We were also able to install the “Measure” app by Google on Nokia 8 after installing ARCore app.
Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 8 Sirocco are other Nokia smartphones with ARCore support currently available in the global market. Nokia 6.1 Plus which was earlier seen on official ARCore devices list, only to be removed by Google later and Nokia 5.1 Plus also support ARCore.
