In this article, we take a deep dive into Nokia 8 Camera UI and also share imaging tips and tricks including how to use the Live Bokeh feature. Nokia 8 comes with additional options and features as compared to Nokia 3, 5 and 6 camera app, though the basic UI navigation remains same.
Nokia 8 camera UI additional options, tips & tricks:
- Nokia 8 camera has an additional option of Live Bokeh or portrait mode that allows not only you to capture great Bokeh images but also to manage the amount of background blur.
- Nokia 8 video capture has additional options of Slow-motion and time-lapse capture
- You can capture audio in three modes: Surround, front or rear
- Nokia 8 Bothie or Dual-Sight mode works in both imaging and video capture options
- Nokia 8 Dual-Lens options include mono-color, dual-color, and only B/W modes.
- If you choose “manual”, you can use the Pro mode where you can set things like Exposure, focus, White Balance manually depending upon the subject and scene.
- You can set to use the volume button to capture images if you want to use a hardware button to do so.
- By default, you can tap twice on the power button to launch camera even when your screen is locked
- You can also unlock and swipe up from the camera icon at the bottom right to launch the camera
- You can capture very good panoramas by selecting Panorama option in the camera UI
