Motorola’s 2nd Gen. Moto 360 is still one of the best Android Wear-based smartwatches you can buy, if you can still find a new one for sale. The good news is that B&H Photo has some in stock, along with some nice discounts that you can take advantage of, with prices starting as low as $189.99.
That’s the price for the 42 mm men’s gold metal band version of the watch, compared to its original price of $379.99. You can get the woman’s version of the same 2nd Gen. Moto 360 for $199.99, and that’s also the price you will pay for the black 42 mm and 46 mm men’s version of the watch that comes in a black leather band.
Motorola has already announced that it has no plans to release any smartwatches (at least for the time being), but the good news is that the 2nd Gen. Moto 360 is one of the few older Android Wear 1.0 products that is still scheduled to get an over-the-air update to Android Wear 2.0. The big question is when exactly that will happen for this device. Both this smartwatch and the Moto 360 Sport have previously targeted an update timeframe of “late April to May” so we still have a few weeks before Motorola goes over that deadline.
