Cartoon Network adds Chromecast support

Cartoon Network adds Chromecast support

If you wanted to watch episodes of Adventure Time and Steven Universe on your living room TV, but was upset that Cartoon Network’s app did not allow for it, you might be happy to learn that the app has been updated with Chromecast support.

As with other Chromecast-supported apps, just press on the “Cast” button and your episodes will be beamed to a nearby Chromecast-enabled TV. According to Cartoon Network, this was one of the most requested features, so at least the channel pays attention to its app’s users. You will need a Chromecast to take advantage of the feature, but so long as you have $35 in your wallet, you should be good to go.

The updated Cartoon Network app is currently available as a free download for iOS and Android. The app offers select full-length episodes for free and offer some episodes before they air on TV, but most episodes require your TV provider login.
