Nokia fans are eagerly waiting for arrival of Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 3310 in their markets. HMD has been tight-lipped over the exact release timelines for any of the phones. All we have been told by HMD is to expect the release in Q2.
So, we have tried to reach to our sources and what we heard is not very inspiring. In case of nearly all the major markets including Europe, UK and India we mayn’t see a release before May.
Russia may get the smartphones and Nokia 3310 before other markets and probably by end of April.
In case of India, we already have official confirmation of Nokia 3, 5 and 6 launch in a end of May to early June time-frame. Nokia 3310 may drop by sooner, but our sources indicate that HMD may now be planning to launch all the phones by mid of May.
Coming to UK, in spite of being one of the priority markets, the phones won’t launch in UK before early to mid of May again. Listings from retailer clove also indicate about a May release in UK.
In case of European markets, while it will be a staggered launch, but again expect a release spanning Mid of May to early – Mid June. Germany & Netherlands may get it early followed by other markets.
