We had reported about Nokia RM-1187 and RM-1188 breaking cover in various leaks. Now, in a very low-key manner these two devices have been launched as Nokia 216 and Nokia 216 Dual-Sim. The Microsoft Lumia YouTube channel has posted the official video for these devices and the product pages are listed at official Microsoft site.

This may be because of the Microsoft to HMD asset transfer still under progress. Microsoft already sold off Nokia Feature-phone business to HMD and Foxconn. HMD officials had also confirmed that Nokia feature phones will arrive soon and that Foxconn has started manufacturing them in India.
